Os Corvos

Os Corvos (Portuguese translation of ‰ÛÏthe crows‰Û�) is an acoustic group that performs Bossa Nova, Samba, Forro, Latin Jazz, and Brazilian MPB. Jay Kirsch and Jerry Parsons met at a flamenco workshop in 2006 and combined their diverse talents to create Os Corvos in 2009. In 2012 they focused the music to be solely Brazilian, and added vocalist Solange Gomes and percussion to add energy to the sound of the group. In 2014 reedman Ashton Snelgrove added more tone to the mix, followed by Ai Fujii Nelson and Rob Vorwald to strengthen the rhythm.
