Billy Rogan
Billy Rogan is a well-versed guitarist known mostly for his instrumental acoustic work whose influences include the styles and techniques of similar prominent guitarists such as Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke, Keller Williams and Kaki King.
His shifting rhythms and melodies reflect a soulful connection in an all encompassing execution of finger style tap guitar described by Grammy nominated Americana forefather and Fender Telecaster, guitar god, Bill Kirchen as “Fearsome."
Rogan’s music has been recognized and awarded by the international acoustic music awards in its best instrumental category, featured on NPR, PBS, Sirius Radio, and chosen for The American Society of Composers and Publishing (ASCAP) “Audio Portrait” series. His solo acoustic work has led him to perform alongside acclaimed artists in the music industry, opening for Grammy nominated musicians such as jazz pianist Brad Mehldau, David Knopfler of Dire Straits, Grammy Winning and Americana Forefather, Bill Kirchen, and others
