The Twin Flames
Kris Krompel and Elise Krompel together are The Twin Flames. Kris is a guitar extraordinaire and fantastic musician. Kris started teaching Elise the bass guitar when they got married in September 2013 and shortly there after they started The Twin Flames Duet.

Jan. 1995 -- 12 å_ years old -- continued private guitar instruction -- also joined Rock School instruction as lead guitarist in a student band. May. 1995 -- Performed as lead guitarist in Rock School band for schools throughout the Carbon County School District. Aug. 1995 - May 1996 -- 13 years old -- Performed with Rock School band for Carbon County International Days festivities. Also performed as lead guitarist for one song with a local professional band during International Days. Competed in local Battle of the Bands. June 1996 - May 1999 Started "garage band" with three friends. Composed original music for the band and performed as lead guitarist at school dances and local concerts. Band competed in high school talent show as well as Battle of the Bands. Continued private guitar instruction. Jan. 1997 - Aug. 2001-- Hired as guitar instructor for Pro Musica, a local music school. Taught 30 to 65 private students weekly. May 1997 - May 2000 -- Received awards for: "Outstanding Jazz Band Student" - Helper Jr. High; "Outstanding Jazz Soloist" and "First Place in Talent Show" - Carbon High; "First Place in Farm bureau Talent Show". Fall Semester 2001 -- Selected to play in the 1st Electric Guitar Ensemble. Summer 2002 -- Returned to Price to teach private guitar students and to conduct guitar seminars at Pro Musica. Fall 2002 -- Performed in the 1st Electric and Acoustic Guitar Ensembles. Performed as lead guitarist in several local bands, and played in several jazz combos. Continued to teach private guitar students. Spring Semester 2003 -- Continued to perform in both the Electric and Acoustic Guitar Ensembles. Summer 2003 -- Remained in Logan to teach private guitar students. Performed with the Utah Festival Opera in the production of "Fiddler on the Roof". Fall Semester 2003 -- Performed in both the 1st Electric and Acoustic Guitar Ensembles. Attended various on-campus guitar clinics at USU. Spring Semester 2004 -- Continued to perform in both the Electric and Acoustic Guitar Ensembles. Summer 2004 -- Remained in Logan to teach private guitar students. Continued to perform in the Utah area in both combo and solo settings; also performed with the Utah Musical Theatre in the production of "Zorro". Fall Semester 2004 -- Played in various guitar master classes at USU. Spring Semester 2005 -- Taught at the Alliance for the Varied Arts and the Kimber Academy. close to 50 private guitar students a week held at this time. Fall 2005 ‰ÛÒ Fall 2006 -- Continued teaching adjunct at Utah State University, KSM Music, Alliance for the Varied Arts, and Logan River Academy. Continued performing as a soloist, in Jazz Combos, and rock bands. Performed with the Utah Festival of Opera in the production of ‰ÛÏMan of La Mancha‰Û�. Spring 2007 -- Continued teaching adjunct at Utah State University, KSM Music, and Alliance for the Varied Arts. Spring 2008 -- Helped form and played in Jazz Quartet called Jazzanova. Joined metal band, Twelve Ton Jezus as lead guitarist. Played in classic rock band called Dr Rock. Recorded two songs for a Crimson Glory tribute album. Taught a guitar seminar for the Utah Association of Music Therapy Conference. Joined Katagory V, a progressive metal band, currently recording a new cd. Helped form and played lead guitar for the Burnin Murks. 2011-- Recorded and released a CD with Zero to Balistic. 2012--Plays in the Cover Bands Third Strike and cover band The Fender Benders, Plays Solo Classical Guitar and Mandolin, Conducts private guitar lessons, and Started Kris Krompel‰Ûªs School of Rock. 2013--Started ‰ÛÏThe Twin Flames‰Û� duet band with his wife, Elise.
