B & B All Stars
The B&B All-Stars have been entertaining audiences along the Wasatch front since 2006. Their roots stretch back to Pennsylvania, where their leader, accordionist and vocalist Richard Roginski, regularly performed Cleveland-style polkas and waltzes at Oktoberfests and other events for the diverse ethnic audiences of the east coast. Shortly after Roginski moved to Utah (and consequently experienced fewer opportunities to perform polkas and waltzes), he met drummer Mark Alvord, who received an inquiry about performing at Snowbird’s Oktoberfest, and the B&B All-Stars were born. In 2011, saxophonist David Halliday, a respected staple of the Utah music scene, joined the band, adding his unique musical skill set, energy, and showmanship. Seven years later, in 2018, another mainstay of the Utah music community, Denson Angulo, joined the B&B All-Stars. The B&B All-Stars have performed hundreds of times at Snowbird’s Oktoberfest, as well as other Oktoberfest-related public and private events throughout Utah, proudly continuing the rich tradition of Cleveland-style polkas and waltzes. Prost!
