Carson Ferris
13 year old Carson Ferris has already had quite the music career, and he’s just getting started.
Carson got to choose an instrument to start learning when he was 6, and he chose electric
guitar. He got his chops in music performance playing guitar and singing in rock bands with
other students at Dave Wilbur’s Rock Lab in Orem, and then with the acclaimed One Voice
Children’s Choir. When the world shut down in 2020 Carson did not want to stop making music
so he struck out on his own. He began recording music in LA and released Can’t Be Without
You featuring Trinidad Cardona in October 2021. Also in 2021 Carson got the opportunity to
have a video of him singing and dancing One Bad Apple in Donny Osmond’s Las Vegas show.
Carson’s music is pop with some rock influence. His favorite band of all time is Journey, and his
music is influenced by OneRepublic and solo acts like Ed Sheran and Alec Benjamin. Carson
writes his music to be both accessible and relatable.
Beginning in 2020 Carson has moved to all online schooling to give him more time to work on
his music. He has put that time to good use as you can often find him playing in local music
festivals like Fork Fest and Buzzards and Bees. He also stays busy writing music, working with
producer Mykyl and laying down tracks at Provo’s June Audio. Carson is on track to release a
new song about every 6 weeks in 2023, so lots of great music on the horizon.
