Casey Morgan
Casey Morgan was born and raised in a mountain community bordering the Uinta National Forest East of the small town of Heber, Utah. At the age of five, he began piano lessons and started making up his own tunes on a small organ. At 8 years old he picked up guitar and hasn't put it down since. Living in the mountains before the era of high-speed internet required that he learn songs mostly by ear and therefore, spent many years honing his ability using cassette tapes, cds, or napster downloads. Songwriting became a passion early on in the isolation of the mountains. Throughout the next 20 years he would become proficient playing many different instruments. Casey began teaching guitar lessons at 19 and now teaches in Park City out of his own studio offering guitar, piano, bass, drums, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, harmonica, and saxophone. At the same time he has performed around the country in a touring rock band playing heavy rock originals and classic rock covers. He has been called an "acoustic jukebox" for his ability to perform a huge variety of covers and take requests in any given genre and era. He has also written over 60 original songs and collaborates with other local artists. He currently plays restaurants and private events as a solo artist and is working on a debut album with his rock band "Thieves Run Wild" set to debut July 2021. The style of Casey's writing is truly unique and contains a wide variety of fusions from all of the artists he's picked up styles from throughout his musical journey.
