Spicy, rhythmic and melodic, Chalula’s music has been captivating audiences for over a decade. The band features a mix of scorching Santana licksempered by chill grooves and reggae swagger, along with some classic soul and originals. Expect bold leads expertly played by lead singer and guitarist Matt Smit, solid bass lines laid down by Tommy Mortensen, sweet vocal harmonies, rhythm guitar and ukulele additions by Brad Armstrong, and the always tasty drumming of Mark Chaney. Dave will be augmenting the evening with some jazz riffs on the tenor sax.
