Fire Hawk
Long time father and son team, and Santaquin residents, Tom Manzanares and Marty Manzanares front the Fire Hawk band. The band has enjoyed 42 years of local popularity and success and was founded in 1983 when Tom parted ways with another very popular band, the Chapparals. In 1993 Tom's oldest son Marty joined the band as Lead guitarist and vocalist, and the pair haven’t looked back since! The current members are some most sought after, talented musicians in the mountain west. Randy Corbett (Drums), Tony Chavez (Lead guitar), and Greg Restad (Steel Guitar, Lead Guitar). The band is one of Utah’s top country and rock bands, and are known for their edgy sound, showmanship and their ability to connect with an audience. Fire Hawk's style of music can be described as a blend of country old and new & classic and modern rock. Fire Hawk truly excels at what they do, and they love doing it! Over the years the band has shared the stage with many big-name acts including King Calaway, Chris Ledoux, The Bellamy Brothers, Restless Heart, Ty Herndon, Mel McDaniels, Highway 101, Ricochet, and Dan Seals
