Heavy Rollers
Heavy Rollers is an electric North American rock band, formed within the frosty mountain valley of Heber City, Utah. Drawing from a plethora of genres like psychedelia, rockabilly, country, and funk to create a rich and wildly unique blues-infused sound, consisting of: Jimmy Oyler (Lead Guitar & Vocs); Andrew McIntosh (Guitar); Carter Pay (Bass); and Greysen Mair (Drums/Guitar & Vocs).
While they were mostly just having fun with their tunes to pass the time, they really found their groove when Andrew joined the crew in 2017, and decided to put their focus towards this new-found, full-bodied four-piece.
With inspiration from classic rock bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, as well as more modern influences like Presidents of the United States of America, Cake, Modest Mouse, Violent Femmes, and Queens of the Stone Age, the group of ‘Rollers’ took their electric tunes to the studio. After beginning their recording sessions with Nate Brown at Rocket Skates Recording in early 2019, Heavy Rollers released their self titled album and later that same year “Rocket Skate Sessions” with five live tracks. On October 30th, 2020 they released their first single, “Words Don’t Do It Just.”
Heavy Rollers currently resides in Salt Lake City where they continue to douse the valley’s music scene with their lyrically rich tracks, layered with melodic, blues-y guitar riffs to get lost in, and upbeat beachy tunes to make you move.
