Sarah DeGraw
Sarah DeGraw was born into a family band, singing 5 part harmonies on the road to ensure a place for her and her family to live. Music was intrinsically connected to “every day” life, though every day life was nothing like the average child or teenagers, music was the one constant tik to its oddity.
She’s sung since she was 5, and played guitar since 16, with a slew of instruments in between, all of which she’s learned to play by ear. Sarah moved to Salt Lake City when she was 18 to reconnect with her estranged father, and shortly after the move started becoming involved in the music scene. She was a drummer and background vocalist in a psychedelic western blues band before starting her first lead project, Sarah DeGraw and the Odd Jobs, which recorded its debut album in 2018. After the album release the band took a hiatus and Sarah focused on broadening her understanding of music, playing, and writing.
Since 2018 she has been featured in many projects as a vocalist and performer, participated in many songwriter series, writes and performs with her current passion project, “Lee Rafugee”, a rock and soul band from SLC, UT, and is starting work on a solo record.
Sarah Degraw has opened for The Stray Cats, Kenny Loggins, Robert Randolph, Paul Cauthen, Jackie Greene and performed at festivals on various stages with many other nationally and internationally touring bands and been very well reviewed by all she has performed for.
The soul, grit, and charisma of Sarah DeGraw’s performances has left audiences better off than without her. Missing this wild one would be a cryin’ shame.
