Tucker Doak
The TDB (Tucker Doak Band)
Tucker’s passion for music started as far back as he can remember. As a boy he played several
different instruments, but none felt quite right. However, when he picked up a guitar for the first
time, he knew what I wanted to do. Tucker is a self-taught guitarist, singer and songwriter. He
learned to play by ear and eventually taught himself to read music.
Tucker started writing at a young age but struggled to finish a song. It wasn’t until later in life
when song writing became more natural.
“Be patient! Things will fall into place at the right time in your life; naturally”.
Tucker Doak is father, husband, family man and friend. He has 3 outstanding kids and a beautiful
wife.
Tucker currently enjoys playing local shows, fairs, weddings, venues and fundraisers with the
TDB.
“A fun memory was at the county fair when my biggest fan- 18-year-old special needs son
requested the Itsy-Bitsy Spider. The crowd’s reaction of singing along and dancing with my son
was priceless! I might be the only artist to ever play that song at a fair; but I will continue to sing
it as long as it puts a smile on my boy’s face!”
“Playing at the House of Blues in Dallas Texas will always be one of the most amazing
experiences of my life. I have never felt more welcomed and hope to do it again. I love to look
out in the crowd and make a connection with people. It makes it all worth it when you can see
them smiling, singing along, and truly enjoying themselves.”
When Tucker and the TDB are not performing, he is writing, performing and collaborating with
other musicians.
Tucker and the TDB have music that is available on all streaming platforms. “It Dawned On Me
“was released in 2021 and has over 30k streams without any industrial support and has landed on
multiple charts. Tucker released “The Lucky One” in Dec of 2022 and “That’s what I’m Talkin
Bout” in 2024 and has been blown away by the support. Check out Tucker and the Band on all
