Dr. Bob
Dr. Bob was founded in 1982 by Jeffrey Howrey and Bets Pott in Park City, Utah where the band remains headquartered to this day.
As one of the longest running Rocky Mountain rock bands ever, Dr. Bob has performed hundreds of times throughout the Intermountain West including appearances at the Utah Arts Festival and the Park City Arts Festival. Dr. Bob has opened concerts for such national acts as the Ramones, the Doobie Brothers, the Romantics, Huey Lewis and the News, Taj Mahal, Wet Willie, Delbert McClinton, and the Rave-Ups.
Dr. Bob's recently released "Men R Pigz" is the band's tenth album of all original material.
Jeffrey Howrey and Betsy Conner-Pott began playing music together in 1977 while both were students at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Bets soon joined Howrey's college group, the Barney Fife Band.
From 1979 through 1982 they performed in New York City as the Utah Zoomers.
In 1982 they relocated to Park City, Utah where they formed the Dr. Bob band which remains headquartered there to this day.
