Pixie + The Grape
Wild Grapes is an intimate acoustic act led by Salt Lake City fiddler, vocalist, and hammer dulcimer player Amanda Grapes. Drawing from Celtic, old-time, bluegrass, French Canadian, Scandinavian, and other traditional music, Amanda brings a distinctive blend of classically trained musicianship and deep-rooted fiddle tradition to every performance.
An original member of Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, Amanda spent a decade touring nationally and internationally, helping build the band's sound and brand. She has won multiple state fiddle championships, placed multiple times at the Walnut Valley Festival fiddle championships in Winfield, Kansas, and founded the Utah Folk Orchestra, a community ensemble celebrating traditional music from around the world.
With expressive fiddle, hammer dulcimer, warm vocals, and rich acoustic arrangements, Wild Grapes creates a versatile, sophisticated sound equally at home at upscale dinners, private events, festivals, listening rooms, and contra dances.
